Length of garden ( smaller rectangle) = 90m
Breadh " " (smaller rectangle) = 75 m

A path of 5 m wide is to be built
So,
Length of bigger rectangle = 90+5 = 95 m
Breadth of bigger rectangle = 75+ 5 = 80 m

So, area of path = Area of bigger rectangle - Area of smaller rectangle

= ( 95 × 80 ) - ( 90 × 75 )
= ( 7600 - 6750 )
= 850 metre sq.
