Let area, length and breadth of the garden be A, L and B respectively.

L= 82 m

B= 68 m

Let area, length and breadth of the garden where the pathway is not constructed are a, l and b respectively.

l= 82-2-2= 78 m

b= 68-3-3= 62 m

Area of pathway=A-a

=(L*B)-(l*b)

=(82*68)-(78*62)

=5576-4836

=740 m²

SundariSakthi1236: why you lessed 4 from length and 6 from breadth
SundariSakthi1236: plz say
richapariya121pe22ey: Please see the picture attached.
richapariya121pe22ey: 3 m width pathway is running lengthwise and 2 m width pathway is running breadthwise. For the not constructed area of the garden, subtracted the width of the path from both the ends. l = 82 - 2 - 2 = 78 m and b = 68 - 3 - 3 = 62 m. I forgot to upload the diagram and now i am not able to edit it. i am sorry.
