a rectangular garden is twice as long as it is wide. if the perimeter of the garden is 1350m, the area of the garden will be ?

let the width of the rectangular garden be x

length = 2x

perimeter = 2( l + b )

1350 = 2( x + 2x)

1350 = 6x

x = 1350/6

x = 225m

length = 2x = 450m

therefore the width of the rectangular garden is 225m and lengtg of the rectangular garden is 450m.
