A rectangular garden measure 28 meters by 10 meters.A concrete path 2 meters wide, is paved around it.what is the area of the path?

Answer:

area of the horizontal part= 2(32×2)=128

area of the vertical part= 2(10×2)=40

therefore area of the path =168
