A rectangular garden of dimensions 25 m× 20 m has paths running across the centre of the width and length as shown . each path has a uniform widths 1 m . find the area of the paths and the remaining field​

length of verticle path: 20 m( breadth of park)

Width : 1m

area : l×b = 20×1= 20m²

Length of horizontal path : 25 ( length of park)

area : 25 × 1 = 25m²

total path area = 20+25-1(1m² area is common)

=44 m²

area of park = 20×25 = 500m²

area of remaining feild= 500 - 44 = 456m²
