A rectangular glass slab having refractive index √3 is silvered at one surface as shown in figure. Light ray will deviate by angle _____ when it cross the glass slab.
(1) 110°
(2) 100°
(3) 90°
(4) 120°

Given that

θ=30°

if wall does not present then the light will follow a-b-c path but due to wall it deviate from original path and known as deviation of ray.

lets take deviation angle is δ.

We know that

θ + δ = 180°

θ=30°

δ =  180° - 30°

δ =120°
