A rectangular glass vessel with dimension 12 centimetre into 5 cm into 4 cm is Partly filled with water if a rectangular block of iron measuring 3 cm into 2 cm into 1.5 cm is wholy immersed in water, by how much will the water level rise?

A/C to archiemedes principle it depends on the volume of iron,
so, volume of iron= lbh
= 3.2.1.5
=9 cm
hence, the water level would be increased upto 9cm.
