Area of the lawn=(40*25)meter square

= 1000 m square

Width of path = 2 meter New length =40+2*2m

=44m New breadth =25+2*2 m

=29 m

New area=44*29 square meter

=1876 square meter So, area of the path=1876-1000 sq. m

=876sq. m

Cost of levelling= rs 8.25*876

=Rs 7427

Area =(40×25) \\  = 1000 \:  {m}^{2}

Width = 2m

Length = 40+2×2 =44m

Breadth =25+2×2=29m

New \:  Area = 44×29 \:  sq \:  m

 = 1876 \: sq \: m

Area  \: of  \: path = 1876 - 1000 \\  = 876 \: sq \: m

Cost  \: of  \: Levelling \\  =8.25 \times 876 \\  = Rs  \: 7,427
