Length of rectangular plot is 120 m
Breadth of the rectangular plot is 60 m
Now
Area of rectangular plot = L × B
$= 120 \times 60 \\ = 7200m {}^{2}$
The gravel path of 1.5 m wide all round inside it
So Length of inside rectangle is
= 120-1.5-1.5
= 117 m
And Breadth of inside rectangle is
= 60 - 1.5 - 1.5
= 57 m

Area of inside rectangle is
$= 117 \times 57 \\ = 6669 \: m {}^{2}$
So The Area of gravel path is
$= 7200 - 6669 \\ = 531 \: m {}^{2}$
Rate = Rs 0.65 per square. m

Hence the Cost of gravelling path is
= 531 × 0.65

= 117 m by 57 m

Area including path = 117 x 57 = 6669 m²

Area of Path =  7200 -  6669 = 531 m²

cost of paving the path with gravel at the rate of 65 Paise per square meter​

= 531 x 65 /100

= 345.15 Rs
