a rectangular grassy plot is 112m long and 78 m brod.it has a gravel path 2.5m wide all around it on the side.Find the area of the path and the cost of constructing it at RS 4.50 per square meter.

area of the rectangular plot = l×b÷w

112×78 =8736 and 8736÷2.5=3494.4

3494.4 × 4.50= 15724.8rs
