Answer:

Area of Path = 524m²

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

  • Length and Breadth of rectangle plot is 75m and 60m respectively
  • Width of the park is 2 m

To Find:

  • Area of the grassy path

Solution: Let ABCD is a rectangular grassy.

★ Area of Rectangle= Length x Breadth

\small\implies{\sf } Area of ABCD= AB x BC

\small\implies{\sf } Area of ABCD = 75m x 60m = 4500m²

__________________________

Length of EF =AB ( 2+2) = 754=71m

Breadth of GF=BC–(2+2)=604= 56 m

Area of EFGH = Length x Breadth

\small\implies{\sf } Area of EFGH = EF x GF

\small\implies{\sf } Area of EFGH = 71m x 56m = 3976m²

We have to find Area of Path

Area of Path = Area ( ABCD EFGH )

\small\implies{\sf } Area of Path= 45003976= 524m²

Hence, Area of Path will be 524m²
