Step-by-step explanation:

A rectangular ground 80m×50m has a path 1 m wide outside around it , the area of the path is. Area of the ground with path =(82×52)m2=4264m2 . Area of the path =(4264-4000)m2=264m2.

Area of ground (no path)= L x B
80 x 50=800 x 5=4000m^2

Area of ground (WITH PATH) L x B
BUT NOW l and b are increased by 1m

So 81 x 51= 4131m^2

Area of path=
Area of ground( with path area included) - area of ground (w/o path area)
====> 131m^2
