A rectangular hall is 12 m long and 6 m broad. It's flooring is to be made of square tiles of side 30 cm. How many tiles will fit in the entire hall? How many would be required if tiles of side 15 cm ware used?

tiles needed= area of the rectangular hall/area of I square(in meters).
so= (12×6)÷(30×30/100×100)
=7200/9
=800tiles
if fifteen centimeter tiles were used then=800×2=1600tiles
so= (12×6)÷(30×30/100×100)
=7200/9
=800tiles
if fifteen centimeter tiles were used then=800×2=1600tiles
