Answer:

Perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)

30cm=2(10+b)

30/2=10+b

15-10=b

5=b

b=5

So breadth or width =5cm

Answer :-

  • Breadth of the Rectangle = 5 cm

Given :-

  • Length of Rectangle = 10 cm
  • Perimeter of Rectangle = 30 cm

To Find :-

  • Breadth of the Rectangle = ?

Explanation :-

Let the Breadth of the Rectangle to be 'x' cm.

\boxed { \boxed { \bf \longrightarrow Perimeter \: of \: Rectangle = 2 (Length + Width) }}

Now Substituting the values,

\rm \longrightarrow 2 (L + B) = 30 \: cm

\rm \longrightarrow 2 (10 + x) = 30 \: cm

\rm \longrightarrow (10 + x) = \dfrac{30}{2} \: cm

\rm \longrightarrow (10 + x) = 15 \: cm

\rm \longrightarrow x = 15 - 10\: cm

\red { \underline { \boxed { \bf \longrightarrow x = 5 \: cm }}}

Hence, the Breadth of the rectangle is 10 cm.
