length of lawn= 20 units

breath of lawn = 15 units

radius of flower bed is 7 units

Area of rectangle = (length × breadth) units sq.

Area = (20×15) units sq.

= 300 units sq.

Area of flower bed =

(\pi \: r ^{2} )unit

(22/7 × 7^2) units ^2

(22/7 × 7× 7) units ^2

154 units ^2

area of lawn excluding the area of the flower bed= 300-154 units^2

= 146 units ^2

hence, area of lawn excludes the area of flower bed by 146 units^2
