side of square = 12 m
perimeter of rectangle is greater by 2 m.

here's ur answer...

area of rectangle=area of square

area of rectangle=l×b

=16×9

=144m²

therefore perimeter of square=144m²

length of the side of square=√144

=12m

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

=2(16+9)

=2×25

=50m

perimeter of square=side×4

=12×4

=48m

perimeter of rectangle is more by=50-48

=2m
