Step-by-step explanation:

area of the lawn =100×70=7000 sq metres

area of the cross road =2×100+5×70=550 sq. metres

so,

area of lawn not covered by cross road is (7000-550) sq. metres= 6450 sq. metres

Answer:

6370sq.m

Step-by-step explanation:

formula for area = lb

l = 100m

b = 70m

not covered by crossroads means we have to deduct the width from the total length of lawn means we have to deduct the width from its parallel.

therefore (100-2) × (70-5)

= 98 × 65

= 6370sq.m
