Area of road =70*50=3500
3500*2=7000 because it has cross road
6*6=36
7000-36=6964
6964*5.50=38302

Area of the road parallel to the length:

Area = Length x Breadth

Area = 70 x 6 = 420 m²

Area of the road parallel to the breath

Area = Length x Breadth

Area = 50 x 6 = 300 m²

Area of the overlapping road:

Area = Length x Breadth

Area = 6 x 6 = 36 m²

Area of the road:

Area = 420 + 300 - 36 = 684m²

Find the cost of levelling:

1 m² = Rs 5.50

684m² = 5.5 x 684 = Rs 3762

Answer: The cost is Rs 3762
