here's ur answer!!!

area of rectangular lawn=l×b

=18×14

=252m²

area of square flower bed=side×side

=2.5×2.5

=6.25m²

area of lawn covered by grass=252-6.25

=245.75m²

hence, final answer is 245.75m² is covered by grass.

Given,

Dimensions of rectangular lawn 18 m long and 14 m wide.

Side of the square flower bed = 2.5 m

To Find,

The area covered with grass.

Solution,

The total area of the rectangular lawn will be l*b

Area of lawn = 18*14 = 252 m²

Now,

Area of the square flower bed = side² = 2.5² = 6.25 m²

So, the area covered with grass = Area of lawn - the area of the flower bed

Area covered by grass =  252-6.25 = 245.75 m²

Hence, the area covered by grass will be 245.75 m².
