A rectangular lawn is 30m by 20m. It had two roads each 2m wide running in the middle of it, one parallel to the length and the other parallel to the width .Find the cost of paving the roads at rupees 12.50 per m².​

                                         = 600 m2

area of road 1 = 30*2

                      = 60 m2

area of road 2 = 20*2

                        = 40 m2

common area = 2*2

                      = 4 m2

total area of roads = (r1 + r2 - ca)

                               = (60 + 40 - 4)

                                = (100 - 4)

                                = 96m2

1m2 = 12.50

96m2 = 1200
