a rectangular lawn is 36m×26m.it has two roads,each 2m wide running in the middle of it one parallel to the length and other parallel to the breadth find the area of the roads​

breadth of lawn : 26m

length of lawn : 36m

road 1 (dimensions){ parallel to length}

length  = 36 m

breadth = 2m

area = 36*2

        =  72m²

area of road parallel to breadth

(similar as above)

l= 26m

b= 2m

area = l*b

        =26*2

        = 52m²
