A rectangular lawn is 60m by 40m and has two roads, each 5 m wide running in the middle of it one parallel to its length
and the other parallel to the breadth a shown in figure. Find the cost of constructing the roads at Rs 80 per m².

Area of road = 70×50 - 60×40

= 3500-2400

= 1100 m²

cost == 1100 × 80

= 88000Rs
