area \: of \: rectanguler \: lawn \:  =  \: 50 \times 36

 = 1800 {m}^{2}

area \: of \: rectangular \: lawn \: and \:  +  \: area \: of \: path \:  =  \: (50 + 2 + 2)  \times  (36 + 2 + 2)

 1800  + area \: of \: path \:  =  \: 54 \times 40

1800 + area \: of \: path =  \: 2160

area \: of \: path \:  = 2160 - 1800

area \: of \: path \:  = 360 {m}^{2}

Cost of levelling of the path at Rs16 per meter²

cost \: of \: levelling \: of \: path \: at \: rs16 \: per \:  {m}^{2}  = 360 \times 16

cost \: of \: levelling \: of \: the \: path \:  = rs5760
