Solution :-

Area of the rectangle = L×B

=> 50m × 35m

=> 1750m²

Then,

Area of rectangular lawn (outside)

=> L×B

=> (50+2+2)m × (35+2+2)m

=> 54m × 39m

=> 2106m²

Therefore, Area of path

=> 2106m² - 1750m²

=> 356m²

Hence, Area of the path is 356m².
