We have,

length of the lawn=50m

It's breadth. =30m

area of the rect. lawn=length*breadth

=50m *30m=1500m^2

now,

we have breadth of the complete lawn and the path=30m+2m+2m=34m

then,we have total length=50m+2m+2m=54m

Total rectangular area =length*breadth

=54m*34m

=1836m^2

Now,

The area of the path=Total area-area of the lawn

=1836m^2-1500m^2

=336m^2

We get ,the area of the path is 336m^2.
