Length of the lawn = 20ft

Area of the lawn = 300 sa. ft

Breadth of the lawn = 300/20 ft = 15 ft

Permiter of the lawn is 20+15 ft = 35 ft

Hence 35 ft fence will be required

Let 'l' be the length and 'b' be the breadth of the rectangle

there fore l*b=300

ie 20*b= 300

b=300/20

= 15

there fore its perimeter is 2(l+b)

= 2(20+15)

= 2*35

= 70 ft

there fore length of fence is 70 ft
