The rectangular loop carrying current will induce a change in emf to the coil next to it .
Let me explain you how ....
Every current carrying coil will behave like a magnet . Hence there are magnetic field around it . The closer the object is to the coil , the greater it will experience the magnetic pull .
The magnetic field lines per unit area is called magnetic flux . Now when the rectangular coil is moved , the straight wire comes closer to the magnetic pull . There is a change in magnetic flux . Because of this , the electrons in the circuit start moving .
This is not current. But an induced current. Meaning ,something else was a factor to start this motion of electrons.
Hence as induced current or an induced emf is produced . This phenomenon is called ELECTRO MAGNETIC INDUCTION.
Hope my answer is in an understandable format. Be curious !!!!
