Given inner side of square park, s=100 cm
Area of inner square =100

=10000 cm

Outer side of square =100+5+5=110 cm
Area of outer square =110
2
=12100 cm

Area of path =12100−10000=2100 cm

Cost of cementing at the rate of Rs 250 per 10 sq cm = Rs 250×210= Rs 52500
∴ Cost of cementing a 2100 cm

Area of mat = 5 m× 3.5 m = 17.5m²
Length= 5+ 1.8+ 1.8= 8.6m
Breath= 3+ 1.8+ 1.8= 7.1m
Area of rectangle= L× B= 8.6×7.1= 61.06
Area of Border= 61.06- 17.5= 43.56m²
