Answer:

⠀⠀⠀⌬ Length of paper = 22 cm

⠀⠀⠀⌬ Width of paper = 10 cm

When we will overlap it, Width is becoming Height pf cylinder but Length will become Circumference of Base of cylinder.

Circumference of Base :

⇒ 2πr = 22

⇒ 2 × 22/7 × r = 22

⇒ r = 22 × 7/(22 × 2)

⇒ r = 7/2 cm

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀───────────────

⠀⠀⠀⌬ Radius of cylinder = 7/2 cm

⠀⠀⠀⌬ Height of cylinder = 10 cm

Volume of Cylinder :

⇢ Volume = πr²h

⇢ Volume = 22/7 × (7/2)² × 10

⇢ Volume = 22/7 × 7/2 × 7/2 × 10

⇢ Volume = 22 × 1/2 × 7/2 × 10

⇢ Volume = 11 × 7 × 5

Volume = 385 cm³

Volume of cylinder formed is 385 cm³.

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU :

Length of the rectangular paper will be height of the cylinder and width of the rectangular paper is circumference of the cylinder

∴2 πr = 10cm and h = 22cm

Now volume of the cylinder

= πr²h

= 22/7 × 10/2π × 10/2π ×22cm³

= 22/7 × 10/2 × 7/22 × 10/2 × 7/22 × 22cm³

= 175cm³

Therefore, volume of the cylinder is 175 cm³.
