Answer :

• Area of rectangular park is 277.2m

Given :

• A rectangular park is 21 3/3 m long and 12 3/5

To find :

Area of rectangular park

Solution :

First we we have to convert fraction into improper fraction. To find the area of the rectangular park we have to use the area of rectangle then we get answer of area of rectangular park

  • Length of rectangular park = 21 3/3 m
  • Breadth of rectangular park = 12 3/5 m

➨ Length = 21 3/3 m

➨ Length = 66/3

➨ Breadth = 12 3/5m

➨ Breadth = 63/5 m

By using the Area of rectangle :

  • Area of rectangular park = l × b

Where , l is length of rectangular park and b is breadth of rectangular park

➨ Area of rectangular park = length × breadth

➨ Area of rectangular park = 66/3 × 63/5

➨ Area of rectangular park = 277.2 m

Hence , Area of rectangular park is 277.2 m

More Explanation :

  • Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)
  • Diagonal of rectangle = l² + b²
  • Where, l is length and b is breadth

Given:-

  • Length of Park = 21\dfrac{3}{3}m=\dfrac{66}{3}m

  • Breadth of Park = 12\dfrac{3}{5}m=\dfrac{63}{5}m

To Find:-

  • Area of the Park

Formula Used:-

  • {\boxed{\bf{Area\:of\: Rectangle=L\times B}}}

Solution:-

Using Formula,

\bf :\implies\: Area\:of\: Rectangle=L\times B

Putting values,

\bf :\implies\: Area\:of\: Park=\dfrac{66}{3}\times \dfrac{63}{5}

\bf :\implies\: Area\:of\: Park=66\times\dfrac{21}{5}

\bf :\implies\: Area\:of\: Park=\dfrac{1386}{5}\:m^2

or,

\bf :\implies\: Area\:of\: Park=277.2\:m^2

Hence, The Area of Rectangle is 1,386/5m² or 277.2m².
