Area of the roads:

Area of the road 1 = L*B

L=70

B= 8

560m^2

Area of Road 2 = 60*8=480m^2

As both of the roads intersect at the centre=

560+480-(8*8)

=1040-64

=976m^2 = Area of both the roads

Cost of leveling both the roads:

Rate= 15/m^2

Cost= 976*15= 14,640
