answer. 1= Let width of driveway = x metres

Park area = 80 x 60 m² = 4800 m²

Drive area = 2 (80x) + 2(60x) + 4x²

Drive area = 4x² + 280 x

Drive area = (3/25)(4800) m² = 576 m²

4x² + 280x = 576

4x² + 280x - 576 = 0

x² + 70x - 144 = 0

(x + 72) (x - 2) = 0

x = 2

Width of driveway = 2 m

Answer:

144m

Step-by-step explanation:
