\bold\red{\underline{Correct\: Question}}

A rectangular park is 90m by 72m.It has two roads through its centre ,running parellel to its sides .The width of the longer and shorter roads are 5m and 7m respectively .Find the area of the roads and the area of the remaining portion of the park.

\bold\green{\underline{Given:}}

The length of park=90m

The wide of park=72

The length of longer road=7m

The wide of shorter road=5m

so,

Area of longer road=90*7=630m²

Area of shorter road=72*5=360m²

Area of cross road=7*5=35m²

Now,

Total area of road=630+360-35

=990-35

=955m²

Than,

Total area of park=90*72=6480m²

Hence,

The area of remaining portion=6480-955

=5525m²
