Given,

The dimensions of the park = 240m×200m

The area of the park excluding the circular lawn is 32600m².

To find,

The circumference of the lawn.

Solution,

Let,the radius of the lawn = r metres

Area of the lawn = πr² m²

Area of the whole park = 200×240 = 48000 m²

According to the question,

48000-πr² = 32600

πr² = 48000-32600

πr² = 15400

r² = 15400 × 7/22

r² = 4900

r = 70

Radius of the lawn = 70 metres

Circumference of the lawn = 2 × 22/7 × 70 = 440 m

Hence,the circumference of the circular lawn is 440 metres.

Answer:

440m

Step-by-step explanation:

The dimensions of the park = 240m×200m

The area of the park excluding the circular lawn is 32600m².

The circumference of the lawn.

Solution,

Let,the radius of the lawn = r metres

Area of the lawn = πr² m²

Area of the whole park = 200×240 = 48000 m²

ATQ

48000-πr² = 32600

πr² = 48000-32600

πr² = 15400

r² = 15400 × 7/22

r² = 4900

r = 70

Radius of the lawn = 70 metres

Circumference of the lawn = 2 × 22/7 × 70

                                             = 440 m
