A rectangular park has length 20m and breadth 15m. Find the cost of fencing the park at the rate of Rs 20 per m. *

Length of park = 20m

Breadth of park = 15m

Therefore, the perimeter of park

= 2 × (L + B)

= 2 × (20m + 15m)

= 2 × 35m

= 70m

Cost of fencing the park at Rs.20 per m

= 70m × Rs.20

= Rs.1400
