Area of original garden= 100×50= 1500m^2

After path is added around rectangle,

new length= 100+2×5= 110m

New breadth= 50+2×5= 60m

Area of rectangle with path= 110×60= 6600m^2

So, Are of path= Area of rectangle with path - Area of rectangle without path

= Area of path_

= 6600m^2- 1500m^2=5100m^2
