A rectangular park is 100m long and 70m wide. A path of 6m wide runs along inside it. Find the area of the path

area of path= 100-12*70-12=88*56
100*70-88*56=7000-5008=1992m²

may i know the path runs form the opposite of the length or width.

if width then -

area of the path= 6×70=490cm

if length then -

area of the path= 6×100=600cm.
