Answer:

OKAY SO HERE WE NEED TO FIND THE PERIMETER

SO GIVEN ALREADY LENGTH IS 30M

AND BREADTH IS 20M

THEREFORE PUTTING THE FENCE = PERIMETER OF THE PARK = 2(l+b) = 2(30+20) =2×50 = 100M

THEREFORE TOTAL FENCE REQUIRED IS 100M

NOW 1M = 15 RUPEES

THEREFORE 100M = 100×15 = 1500 RUPEES

HENCE TOTAL COST OF FENCING IS 1500 RUPEES

I K U ALREADY GOT THE ANSWER BUT STILL IF ANYONE ELSE NEEDS HELP THEY MAY REFER TO MY ANS ALSO

Given:

A rectangular park is 30 metres long and 20 metres broad.

To find:

The cost of putting the fence at the rate of ₹15 per metre.

Solution:

The cost of putting the fence at the rate of ₹15 per metre is 1500.

We can find the fencing cost by doing the following steps:

First of all, we will find the perimeter of the rectangular park.

So,

as given,

The length of the rectangular park, l = 30m

The breadth of the rectangular park, b= 20m

So,

the perimeter is

 = 2(l + b)

 = 2(30 + 20)

 = 2(50)

 = 100 \: m

Now,

As given,

1 m fencing costs = ₹15

So, 100 m fencing costs

 = 15 \times 100

 = ₹1500 \:

Hence, the cost of fencing the rectangular park is ₹ 1500.
