Area of park = l × b

= 45m × 30m

= 1350m^2

Area of path along with area of park

= ( 45 + 2.5 + 2.5 ) × ( 30 + 2.5 + 2.5 )

= 50m × 30m

= 1750m^2

Therefore ,

Area of path only = Area of path along with the area of park - Area of park

= 1750m^2 - 1350m^2

= 400m^2

Hence , the area of path is 400m^2 .
