Answer:

1100 m² is Area of Park that can be used by the children for playing.

A rectangular park is 50 m long and 24 m wide

Area = 50 * 24  = 1200 m²

Four squares with each side as 5 m are reserved for Parking of vehicles

Area = 4 * 5² = 100 m²

Area of Park that can be used by the children for playing. = 1200 - 100

= 1100 m²

Perimeter of Park that can be used by the children for playing. = 40 + 5 + 5 + 14 + 5 + 5 + 40 + 5 + 5 + 14 + 5 + 5

= 148 m
