A rectangular park is 50 m long and 36 m broad. A path 4 m wide is running outside the park, along its boundary. Find the path area.

breadth = 36m

path = 4m wide

area of path = area of park + area of 4m broad park

(50×36)+ 2(4×36+4×50)

=1380+688

= 2518m
