A rectangular park is 50m long and 35m wide. path 2m wide is constructed outside the park. find the are of the path and the cost of constructing it at the rate of 350 per 10 sqm.

Length of park 50 cm

breadth of park 35 cm

length of path 2cm

area of park 35×50=1750

length excluding the path 50-2=48

breadth excluding the path 35-2=33 area excluding the path 33×48=1584

area of path=1584-1750=160

constructions per 10 sqm= 350

construction per 160sqm=160÷10=16 now16×350=5600
