A rectangular Park is 60 metre length and 30 metre breadth. A Path 2 metre wide runs along inside the rectangular Park. find the area of the path.​

Breadth of the park = 30 m

Area of the park = 50×30

=1500m

Length of the park without path = 50−(2+2)=50−4=46m

Breadth of the park without path = 30−(2+2)=30−4=26m

Area of the park without the path = 46×26

=1196m

Area of the path = Area of park - Area of park without path
