a rectangular park is 65 m long and 50 m wide two cross paths each 2m wide are to be constructed parallel to thw sides if these paths pass through the centre of the rectangle and cost of construction is rs 17.25 per square m , find the total cost involved in the construction of paths ​

AB=CD=65m

BC=AD=50m

PQ=SR=ST=UV=MN=NO=OP=MP=2m

area of PQRS=(2×50)m^2 = 100m^2

area of STUV=(2×65) m^2 = 130m^2

area of MNOP=(2×2) m^2=4m^2

area of path=PQRS+STUV-MNOP =(100+130)-4 =230-4 =226 m^2

cost of construction of the path= Rs(17.25×226) = Rs 3898.5
