1 method

Area of path is  area of park with path - area of rectangular park

area of park =l x b= 45 x 30=1350 cm2

area of park with path is =45+2.5+2.5 x 30+2.5+2.5 = 1750cm2

area of path = 1750-1350=400 cm2

2 method

Area of path = area of park with path - area of rectangular park

✔✔✔area of park =l x b= 45 x 30=1350 cm2

✔✔area of park with path is =45+2.5+2.5 x 30+2.5+2.5 = 1750cm2

✔area of path = 1750-1350=400 cm2

Answer:

15240

Explanation:

first rectangle=68*54=3672

second rectangle=(68-4.5-4.5)(54-4.5-4.5)

=59*45

=2655

path=3672-2655

=1016

cost of constructing path=rupees 30 for 2m

=1016/2*30

=508*30

=15240
