area of park excluding area of roads = Area of park - area of roads

area of park= l×b = 800×400 = 320000m²

area of 1st road= 800×10 = 8000m²

area of 2nd road = 400×10 = 4000m²

but it will make a rectangular box in centre of both roads that's why

area of rectangular box = 10×10 = 100m²

therefore , Area of both roads = 4000+8000-100 = 11900m²

area of pard excluding the roads = 320000-11900

= 308100m²

Step-by-step explanation:

area of park excluding area of roads = area of park - area of roads

area of park= l×b=800×400=320000msq.

area of first road=800×10=8000m

area of second road=400×10=400m

therefore,area of both roads=4000+8000-100

= 11900m sq.

area of park excluding the roads=

3,20,000-11,900

=3,08,100 sq.m
