paths run parallel to the sides of the rectangular park
through the centre of the park. The width of the path is
2.4 m. Find the area of the path and the area of the
remaining part of the park.
Its answer is 642.24msq. or 17357.76msq.​

this is a exactly same question as given.. just there difference in values and wording ..u can do as usual as done with help of this example from viva book of class 7th. i know its a question of 7th class perimeter and area chapter. i am very syre about it.. take a look from this answer..
