Answer with Step-by-step explanation:

Length of park=l=30 m

Breadth of park=b=24 m

Area of park=l\times b=30\times 24=720 m^2

a.Width of longer path=2.2 m

Length of longer path,l=30 m

Area of longer path=2.2\times 30=66 m^2

Length of small path=24 m

Width of small path=1.8 m

Area of small path=24\times 1.8=43.2 m^2

Area of  path=Area of longer path+area of small path-area of common region

Area of path=66+43.2-2.2\times 1.8=105.24 m^2

b.Area of remaining portion=Area of park-area of path

Area of remaining portion=720-105.24=614.76m^2
