Answer: ₹1500

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of park= 100m

Breadth of park= 50m

Perimeter of the park= 2(l+b)

=2(100+50)

=2×150=300m

So, cost of fencing the park= 300×5

= ₹1500

Hope it helps :)

Given:-

  • Length of Rectangular Park = 100m
  • Breadth of Rectangular Park = 50m
  • Rate of fencing = Rs.5/m²

Find:-

  • Cost of fencing the park.

Solution:-

we, know that

➢ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(l + b)

where,

  • Length, l = 100m
  • Breadth, b = 50m

Substituting these values

➤ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(l + b)

➤ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(100 + 50)

➤ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(150)

➤ Perimeter of Rectangle = 300m

So, Perimeter of Rectangle is 300m

Now,

Cost of fencing 1m = Rs.5

Cost of fencing 300m = 5 × 300 = Rs.1500

Hence, Cost of fencing the given Rectangular park is Rs.1500
