Given :

Length of the Rectangular Park = 20 m

Breadth of the Rectangular Park = 15 m

Initial Breadth of the Path = 2.5 m

To Find :

Area of the Path

Formula Used :

Area of Rectangle = l*b

Procedure :

New Length of the Path = 20 + 2.5 + 2. 5

= 25 m

New Breadth of the Path = 15 + 2.5 + 2.5

= 20 m

Area of Path = Area of Path - Area of Rectangular Park

= ( l*b ) - ( l*b )

= 25*20 - 20*15

= 500 - 300

= 200

Solution :

Area of Path = 200
